പാശ്ചാത്യ ലോകത്ത് മുസ്ലിംകള്‍ക്കെതിരെ വ്യാപകമായി നടക്കുന്ന വലതുപക്ഷ പ്രചരണങ്ങള്‍ക്കെതിരെ വിശ്വപ്രസിദ്ധമായ ഹാരി പോര്‍ട്ടര്‍ നോവല്‍ പരമ്പര എഴുതിയ ജെ.കെ റൗളിങ്. ‘മുസ്ലിംകളെ മനുഷ്യരല്ലാതായി കാണുകയും അവരെപ്പറ്റി മുന്‍ധാരണകള്‍ വെച്ചു പുലര്‍ത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവര്‍ക്ക്, മതേതരമൂല്യങ്ങള്‍ സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്ന പാശ്ചാത്യരെ പിശാചുക്കളായി കാണുന്ന ഇസ്ലാമിസ്റ്റുകളേക്കാള്‍ ധാര്‍മികത ഇല്ല’ എന്ന് അവര്‍ ട്വിറ്ററില്‍ കുറിച്ചു. ബ്രിട്ടനിലെ ഫിന്‍സ്ബറി പാര്‍ക്കില്‍ തറാവീഹ് കഴിഞ്ഞ് മടങ്ങുകയായിരുന്നവര്‍ക്കു നേരെ വാന്‍ ഇടിച്ചുകയറ്റി സംഭവത്തെപ്പറ്റിയുള്ള പ്രതികരണത്തിലാണ് അവര്‍ ഇക്കാര്യം ട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്തത്.

ഫിന്‍സ്ബറിയില്‍ അക്രമിയെ കീഴ്‌പ്പെടുത്തുകയും ആള്‍ക്കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് രക്ഷിച്ച് പോലീസിന് കൈമാറുകയും ചെയ്ത ഇമാമിനെ അനുമോദിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുള്ള പോസ്റ്റുകളും ജെ.കെ റൗളിങ് റിട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്തു. മുസ്ലിംകള്‍ക്കു നേരെ ആക്രമണം നടത്തിയ വെള്ളക്കാരനില്‍ തീവ്രചിന്താഗതി വളര്‍ത്തിയ ബ്രിട്ടനിലെ വലതുപക്ഷ രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തെയും അവര്‍ കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തി. ഇസ്ലാമിസ്റ്റുകളും മുസ്ലിം വിരുദ്ധ ഭീകരവാദികളും ഒരേ വിശ്വാസമാണ് പങ്കിടുന്നതെന്നും അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
